BLOEMFONTEIN - The Deputy Minister of Police, Mr Cassel Mathale will lead the launch of the UFS campus community safety forum at the University of the Free State (UFS) main campus in Bloemfontein.

The launch of this campus community safety forum is part of the SAPS strategy to create a safe and secure learning environment for students across the country.

The SAPS continues to engage with institutions of higher learning across the country in order to establish safety structures in the form of campus community safety forums (CCSF), which are essentially a collective effort to fight crime at institutions of higher learning.
