In another operation that was held at Isipingo last night, a 23-year-old man was also arrested and charged for possession of drugs. His arrest follows the persistence of Narcotics Team to eradicate drugs in the area. He was found in possession of 34 straws of heroin at Alexandra Road, Isipingo. The KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner, Lieutenant General Mmamonnye Ngobeni applauded the members on successfully making good on their directive by recovering drugs and arresting the suspects. “These operations will continue to keep our country drug-free which will assist us in securing a better future for our youth. We once again applaud those communities that keep us informed of drug dealing in their suburbs,” she said.
