WESTERN CAPE - Investigation into an alleged vigilante attack which led to the death of a 28-year-old man at Nekkies in Knysna resulted in the arrest of four suspects.

On Friday, 01 August 2025 at about 10:50, Knysna police members responded to an alleged vigilante attack. Upon arrival, the members found the body of a man with multiple injuries. He was declared deceased by paramedics on scene.

The investigation into the murder led to the arrest of three men and a woman, aged between 25 and 39, who were positively linked to the incident. They remain in police custody and are expected to appear in the Knysna Magistrates’ court on Monday, 04 August 2025, facing a murder charge.

This is an ongoing police investigation and more arrests could be effected as the investigation unfolds.
