MAFUBE - Police, joined by the community, launched a search team after 75-year-old Tladi Elias Mokoena went missing on Monday, 22 September 2025.

​According to his grandson, he left his grandfather, Tladi Elias Mokoena, sitting outside their residence in Seabata Section, Mafube, at approximately 06:45 on the day of the disappearance. When he returned from work, his grandfather was not at home and could not be found after an extensive search by the family.

He was wearing blue jeans and a blue track top.  He is reportedly mentally ill.

​Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen Mr. Tladi Elias Mokoena or has any information regarding his whereabouts to immediately contact the investigating officer, Sergeant Shabalala, at 063 598 2100 or call police Crime Stop 0860010111 or drop an anonymous tipoff on MySapsApp.
