LUCKHOFF - Police in Luckhoff are requesting the community’s assistance in locating a missing 30-year-old man, James Maranco, also known as Stralie.

According to people, they last saw him on Friday, 14 November 2025, at approximately 06:00 when he left their home in Relebohile Ext 1, Luckhoff, covering himself with a blanket. She assumed he was going out briefly and would return, but he never came back.

A community witness reported seeing James at around 11:00 the same day, walking along the Jacobsdal road towards Jacobsdal. James is mentally challenged.

He was last seen wearing black jeans torn at the knees and a grey hoodie. He is approximately 1.72 m tall, well-built, and light in complexion. He previously worked in Limpopo.

Anyone with information that may assist the police in locating James Maranco is urged to contact Warrant Officer Steve Tsokolibane on 082 466 8550, or call the Crime Stop number at 08600 10111. Information may also be submitted anonymously through the MySAPS App.
