GAUTENG - Police in Ekurhuleni District in collaboration with local security companies arrested two males (aged 36 and 39) and a female (aged 51) on Wednesday, 31 May 2023 within minutes after a house robbery incident in Brakpan

Members of Ekurhuleni District Trio Task Team and SAPS Brakpan reportedly responded to a house robbery in progress and immediately proceeded to an address in Brakpan; one victim was tied up.

The suspects fled the scene on foot upon arrival of the SAPS members and security guards, but were shortly after apprehended.

Police recovered various stolen property that include laptops, handbags and cellphones.
