POLOKWANE - Members of Tubatse Detective Services were busy with tracing operations when the most wanted suspect was arrested after residents gave information on the 16 December 2025.

Detective Services members were busy with Tracing Operations on the 16 December 2025 at about 07:45 when they received information from residents about a murder suspect hiding at Alverton Village.

The reports indicate that the suspect stabbed the victim with a knife at Bushbuckridge. The victim as a result succumbed and a case of murder was registered during September 2025. Apparently the suspect was nowhere to be found as he was on the run.  The search for him by SAPS members of Bushbuckridge had been ongoing .

The male suspect’s luck came to an abrupt end when he was arrested on Tuesday, 16 December 2025 in Limpopo. The suspect will then be picked up by Bushbuckridge SAPS members from Mpumalanga to face murder case.

The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has praised the residents for working closely with the SAPS members by providing valuable information which led to the arrest of the suspect facing a charge of murder committed at Bushbuckridge.
