VHEMBE - SAPS in Vhembe District Social Crime Prevention coordinators Sergeant Nelwamondo, Sergeant Tshikororo and Constable Mphaphuli in partnership with Vuwani Social Crime Prevention coordinators Warrant Officer Mushungwa, Constable Makhahane, Community Policing Forum as well as Community in Blue members had on Tuesday, 07 February 2023 visited the Davhana Balanganani tribal offices in the Vuwani policing area.

The main purpose of the visit was to engage with the community members and to bring services closer to the community.

As part of the awareness campaign, Sergeant Nelwamondo sensitised the community members about the following:

• Stock theft
• Cable theft
• Gender-based violence and femicide
• Usage of drugs in schools
• Human trafficking
• Missing persons

In addition, community members were assisted with certifying of documents and affidavits.
