NORTH WEST - The Hawks' Serious Organised Crime Investigation in conjunction with the North West Provincial Anti-Gang Unit and Provincial Drugs Task Team arrested a 32-year-old Nigerian national on Wednesday, 12 November 2025, in Klerksdorp for alleged unlawful possession of drugs.

The team was acting on information received about a Nigerian male alleged to be dealing in drugs in Klerksdorp. A search was conducted at his flat, which led to the discovery of suspected drugs, including crystal meth, mandrax tablets, rock, kat, and ecstasy tablets, with an estimated value of R50 000.

The suspect will appear in the Klerksdorp Magistrates' Court on Thursday, 13 November 2025, facing charges of unlawful possession of drugs.
