POLOKWANE - Police in Makhado under the Vhembe District are investigating a case of attempted murder following an alleged farm attack that occurred on Monday evening, 02 March 2026.

It is alleged that at about 19:30, a male victim aged 68 was confronted by two unknown suspects at a farm along the Elim Road. The suspects allegedly assaulted the complainant and attempted to shoot him; however, the firearm reportedly malfunctioned. The victim sustained injuries during the incident.

The suspects fled the scene without taking any property and are currently unknown.
