NELSPRUIT - Today, 10 March 2026, the South African Police Service in Mpumalanga is releasing crime statistics for the third quarter of 2025/2026 at SAPS Provincial Head Office in Nelspruit.

The Mpumalanga Deputy Provincial Commissioner for Policing, Major General Sekgobela welcomed all the attendees and outlined the purpose of the day.

The Mpumalanga MEC for Community Safety, Security and Liaison, Mr KJ Macie rendered remarks and expressed appreciation for the work done by the Acting Provincial Commissioner of the police in Mpumalanga, Major General (Dr) Zeph Mkhwanazi and all the law enforcement officers for bringing the crime to its minimal in Mpumalanga and for ensuring that the people in the province are and feel safe. He emphasised that the the curbing of crime committed against women and children should remain a priority in this province. The crime committed against women and children will not be tolerated in Mpumalanga. He called on all the structures in the community to work in collaboration with the police to fight crime.
