GAUTENG - The South African Police Service in Vosloorus confirms that 27-year-old Mazwi Mpumelelo Kubheka who was reported missing on 02 April 2026 has been found safe.

The individual presented himself at Vosloorus police station on the evening of 02 May 2026. His identity has been verified and will be reunited with his family after receiving medical assessment.

At this stage, the circumstances surrounding the missing person case are still sketchy and police investigations are underway.

SAPS thanks the community, media, and all stakeholders who assisted in sharing information and distributing the missing person alert.

There is no waiting period to report a missing person. Immediately you suspect your family member or relative is missing notify the police on 08600 10111 or at the nearest police station.
