Media Statement from Western Cape Media Centre Western Cape: On Friday (2016-04-08) at about 15:00 eight males were arrested in Renoster Road, Manenberg for possession of stolen property. Manenberg SAPS members were alerted of where alleged stolen property was kept in Renoster Road, Manenberg. Upon arrival they found a white truck which was positively identified as stolen on a Hout Bay case. The truck was loaded with souvenir artefacts valued at R250 000.00 The goods were positively identified by the rightful owner. The circumstances of how the truck was stolen is not known. The eight males aged between 21 and 46 years old will appear in the Athlone Magistrate Court on Monday 2016-04-11 on a charge of possession of stolen property.
