Today police in Dobsonville digged out a body of a woman, Lindiwe Ngwenya, buried in the yard of a house at Phase 3, Braaamfischerville. She disappeared in August last year and her live-in lover (Nkosinathi Nxumalo) was arrested on the 10 April 2013 while he was allegedly trying to kill himself at the Dobsonville police station's toilets. He is due to appear at the Protea Magistrate Court on 3 May 2013 on charges of murder. Police are still looking at the possibility that he might have been assisted to dispose the body in the yard.

The victim was last seen in August last year by the neighbours and her family.  In November last year she was reported missing at the Dobsonville police station. Police questioned her partner without success until the 10 April when Nkosinathi sent an SMS to the police and alleged that he assaulted her and she died.  When police went to arrest him, he had allegedly left his place to the police station where he was found to have drank poison in the toilets. He was arrested at taken to Leratong Hospital. Yesterday he cooperated with the police and went to point  the place where he buried  Lindiwe.

He was remanded in police cells until his appearance on the 3 May for the charges of murder.
