In the early hours of this morning Brighton Beach and Montclair police proceeded to Lamontville  area where they arrested three suspects who were wanted for business robbery and house breaking committed in Montclair and Brighton Beach area. The suspects were found on the premises where the stolen goods were kept as well as R50 000.00 cash. The arrested suspects aged 22 and 36 are expected to appear in the Durban Magistrates’ Court soon on charges of business robbery and house breaking.

The KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Mmamonnye Ngobeni praised the members for arresting the suspects. Business robberies are a huge problem which is affecting our community and the economy of our province, I would like commend our members for their dedication that led the swift arrest of the suspects. We urge the community to continue providing us with information about criminal activity in the community,’ she said.
