Western Cape: Yesterday afternoon at 16:30 members of Steenberg police followed up on information and proceeded to a residence in 12th Avenue Retreat where a 30 year old man was arrested for being in possession of an explosive device, three R5 magazines, 46 R5 rounds of ammunition and a blast cap often used in ATM bombings. Once charged the suspect, who is from the Manenberg area is due to make a court appearance in Wynberg on charges of possession of explosives and ammunition.
