KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison, Mxolisi Kaunda, will be meeting the police management in the province to discuss the recently released crime statistics and plans to reduce the levels of crime in the province.

The MEC will also reflect on the plans to ensure peace and stability in the province post local government elections. Plans to deal with the hosting of by-elections brought about by the murder of candidate councillors, will also be discussed.
