Two suspects aged 23 and 31 are expected to appear in the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court today for possession of copper. It is alleged that on 10 September 2016 at about 11:30, during the Crime Awareness motorcade, police members noticed two unknown suspects who were carrying a suspicious bag along Richmond road, Westmead. They then stopped and searched them and copper was found with the street value of R2000. It is alleged that the copper was stolen from a company in New Germany.
