Update: Dumisani Malcom Thani, a 42-year-old police constable who masqueraded as police captain and his accomplice Lucky Sipho Mabuza (43) were released on R5 000 bail by the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court on Monday.

The duo will be in the dock again on 7 March 2017.
