PORT ELIZABETH - Acting swiftly to information received from the community service centre, Mount Road Crime Prevention officers succeeded in arresting four suspects who were found to be in possession of suspected stolen property.

It is alleged that on Monday, 03 June 2019 at about 09:45, the men were seen offloading a goods from a Toyota Tazz in Fettes Road in North End. The goods were taken into a flat. Police responded to the alert and the four men were found inside the flat. Computer equipment, tools, fishing tackle and household goods were found. Upon further investigation, the police officials established that a Wendy house in the garden of a house in Elsa Street in Framesby was burgled during the early hours of Monday morning, 03 June 2019).   The complainant discovered the break in at about 07:50 yesterday morning.

All the property including the Toyota Tazz were confiscated. The Toyota Tazz was borrowed by one of the suspects from a friend. The suspects aged between 30 and 35 are expected to appear in court soon. Investigators are busy probing their involvement in the housebreaking in Framesby.
