NORTHERN CAPE – A 43 year old suspect has been arrested this morning in a joint operation by the Hawks Serious Organised Crime Investigation and K9 for illegal dealing in drugs.

The team acted on information regarding drugs being sold at Christine flats, Roodepan, Kimberley. A search and seizure disruptive operation was conducted at the said premises. During the search, 220 grams of Kat with the street value of R44 000-00 was uncovered. Three cell phones and an undisclosed amount of money were seized for further investigation.

The detained suspect is expected to appear at the Kimberley Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 06 October 2020.
